She Speaks A Different Language is a songwriting blog created by Kate Rae.
Named after the song from the critically acclaimed Dark Horses album, which was on high rotation around Melbourne in year 2000, the blog focuses on interviews with Australian songwriters and the mysterious ways songs come about.
Kate loves coffee and holidays and has grown up surrounded by and loving music.
As well as writing songs, working in music and attending a healthy share of gigs, she has studied creative writing, editing and participated in songwriting programs.
